Hello Bloggers!
I have clients that don’t want to get out of a relationship because they don’t want to be alone. I understand what their saying, however at the same time they’re constantly complaining about this person. The question is …”Does this person make you feel sick or unhappy?”
Loneliness often means you’re staying with someone who is unhealthy. You’re settling for less. Are you lacking self love? If the person they’re with is unhealthy they have a good chance to become unhealthy too.
If you want to be alone you are saying you basically love yourself more and are willing to take the risk of being alone.
The rule is to stay in a relationship until the end. If someone makes you physically sick or mentally ill. Talk to a therapist. You’re in the relationship till the end. Apathy and empathy. You want to learn the lesson. Your lesson. If you leave early you might repeat the same lesson until you get it.
There are plenty of resources to help you….therapists, books, self help groups etc. Communication is key. Are you communicating?
All the best,
